Again, please throw them a bone Mr President
The violence in Iran continues, people are being shot and beaten to death, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard issued it’s sternest statement to date saying to protestors, “be prepared for a resolution and revolutionary confrontation with the Guards, Basij and other security forces and disciplinary forces” if they continue their near-daily rallies, and what did President Obama do over the weekend?
He took his girls out for ice cream. NICE!!
I want to be clear on this point. Him going out with his children over Father’s Day weekend isn’t really what’s at issue. The fact that he says little, or nothing about the crisis in Iran is. I don’t know how far he should push the Iranian regime, but so far I don’t think that his remarks have even reached the tepid level. Step up a little bit more for freedom Mr President.
Here is video of the killing of the Iranian girl, Neda, at the hands of Iranian Basij security forces. This is what is going on in Iran. The only thing that President Obama, by not speaking out, is doing is delaying the enevitable fate of the protesters, but make no mistake about it President Obama, the massacre is happening now, and will continue.
