Memphis Burger King marquee.
Several Burger Kings in Memphis recently put up “Global Warming is Baloney” on their marquees.
I couldn’t agree more with the man that owns these franchises. Burger King corporate, however, was not pleased. They referred back to their franchise contract that says, ‘we can tell you exactly what you can and can’t do, and there’s nothing you can do about it.’
The good news here is that people everywhere are starting to push back against these eco-nuts who are trying to force us back 100 years in time.
I’ll really believe that these “environmentalists” are sincere when they start championing nuclear energy, the cleanest, safest form of energy man has ever known.
Now if this Burger King owner would put up a ‘Waterboarding is not Torture’ sign on the marquee he would really be my hero!!

global warming is definatly BS, but waterboarding IS torture and it IS wrong you dumb ass.
Let someone one drown you, then revive you just before you die and tell me its not torture.
The times of london just ran an article about local police waterboarding suspects, actualy UK citizens!
If you dont stand up against torture now dont fucking bitch when the local pigs start doing it to you.
Go ahead and tell me how water boarding is torture? There are no long term physical or mental side effects. It’s simulated drowning not drowning. Did you know that water boarding is done to all US special forces to show them what might happen if they’re captured by the enemy? So are you saying we have tortured 50,000 of our own troups?
I volunteer to waterboard you, your children and the rest of your family! I have no qualms with torturing and exterminating the scum on this earth. Also yes, yes we have tortured our own. We’ve exposed our armed forces to radiation from DU (gulf war syndrome), exposed them to numerous chemical weapons, why not torture too? Prey that people like me never gain control of this nation. I believe whole heartedly in an eye for an eye, and I view supporters of crimes as accessories to the crimes. You are a true jack ass.
Hey, Ed. If waterboarding is NOT torture, then why did our government execute the Japanese who waterboarded American soldiers?
Are you saying that we just like to kill other people for no reason?
Show me where we executed any Japanese for the method of waterboarding we used against any of the THREE Islamic extremist that we
waterboarded?
Let’s agree to disagree. You think it is torture I don’t
It may bother you, but to me these three guys getting waterboarded will not cause me to lose any sleep.
Water boarding was declared illegal torture by the U.S. during Vietnam war. A picture, found on the following web site of 2 U.S. soldiers water boarding a North Vietnamese was used to court-martial and discharge an army soldier. Changing the definition is all Bush did. Torture doesn’t change because you redefine it. So lets rename rape sexual indiscretion since the woman can walk away and recover. She probably had sex before anyway so what’s the problem.

Maybe they should have given them cookies and milk and waited for them to give up the info.
Again we can agree to disagree.
I have no issue that these three men were waterboarded and you obviously do.
As you say, agree to disagree. Dialog is always good. How can america claim to be better than the terrorist and yet sink to the same level as them. I don’t have a problem with interrogation, harsh or other wise but don’t change the rules to soot a need. Too many people watch programs like 24 and think they have an understanding of how it works. Most will tell you what you want to hear to make it stop. Most likely lies. Every country does torture in one form or another and always will. Its human nature to hurt each other.
The article is ver good. Write please more
You know, I don’t read blogs. But yours is really worth beeing read.
