In another move toward complete political correctness, the North Dakota Board of Higher Education is waiting to see if North Dakota’s Standing Rock and Spirit Lake Sioux tribes will vote to allow the University of North Dakota to keep its nickname the Fighting Sioux.
What the f— do they want to rename them, the North Dakota “Nobody in Their Right Mind Would Want to Live Here Because it is Too Freaking Cold-Shivering Mother F-ers?
I would love for my nickname to be “Brave Ed” or “Fighting Ed” or “Kick Your Ass if Look at ME Funny Again Ed” or “I’ll Wipe That Grin From Your Face Ed.”
This school is going to change its name to the Broncos or the Bad Lands or the Mt Rushmores(I know its in S Dakota but only 2% of my readers will) and 20 years from now the Sioux will be asking “HOW” come no one remembers who the Souix were?
If you want to get rid of bad stereotypes lose the Washington Redskin mascot!! That won’t happen because all these PC politicians luv their REDSKINS!!
